The Mindwood project is intended to promote the digitization of timber construction, particularly in the area of moisture measurement and the production of smart wooden components. In this way, damage to the interior should be avoided and wood construction should be taken one step further in the direction of smart building.
Konzept

concept

Under the direction of Holzforschung Austria, with the help of research partners, methods are to be developed and investigated with which the moisture in wooden components can be measured. Existing solutions, such as the sensor technology from tagtron, should also be taken into account. Methods are also to be researched with which a power supply and strain measurements are carried out. Afterwards, new application possibilities are to be tested.
